JCI Bradford Secret Santa Appeal

Every year JCI Bradford gets together with The Pulse and local businesses to collect Christmas presents for disadvantaged and needy children from all over the Bradford area.

JCI Bradford leads the way with the annual Secret Santa Appeal starting originally in 1989. The appeal provides a great opportunity for members to learn and practice skills in project management and people management etc.

YEN believes the Secret Santa Appeal is a great cause and one that it is proud to associate itself with. YEN will help to promote the appeal though various different projects in the next coming weeks, including at our next event at the National Media Museum. Sheraz Malik (Director of YEN) says “YEN is very privileged to be supporting such a great cause, at the festive time of the year we should all be doing our very best to help those in a less fortunate position”.

The appeal collects around 3,500 presents each year. This project is one of the largest of its kind in the country and we would like to thank each and every person who has donated a present via our Secret Santa Appeal stand in the Kirkgate Shopping Centre, Bradford, Queensgate Market, Huddersfield and Eureka! the national children’s museum, Halifax as well as the many businesses, schools and organisations that have helped to make a needy child’s Christmas that bit more special.

The appeal runs between the end of November and mid December.
