This week saw the Yorkshire Enterprise Network return to The Provident Stadium with another Bradford Means Business networking event, hosted by the Bradford Bulls and Chadwick Lawrence. As per usual, the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and the atmosphere on the night was fantastic.
After an hour of networking, attendees were treated to an introduction from YEN Director Sheraz Malik, before an honest and surprisingly personal Q&A session from Marc Green (Bradford Bulls Chairman). He spoke on the status on the club and some of the changes brought about in the past year to help them to become healthy and sustainable as a business. While some decisions were tougher than others, Marc admitted that "he's fallen in love with the city" and "wants to give back more than he's taken". Marc wants to continue to reshape the club and bring it in-line with the trusted "Man United Model", taking the Bulls forward into the Rugby Super League.
Afterwards, Asma Iqbal (Partner at Chadwick Lawrence) and Neil Wilson (Managing Partner at Chadwick Lawrence) gave their presentations on business health warning signs and performance management respectively. The information provided was detailed and in-depth, and we're sure that every attendee learnt something from these keynotes.
