UK Export Finance – The government aims to ensure that no viable UK export fails for lack of funding and therefore provides finance and insurance to export through UKEF, the UK’s export credit agency. Existing to complement not compete with the private sector, UKEF works in partnership with banks and brokers to provide working capital loans, credit insurance, and bank guarantees so UK companies can trade with overseas markets. The funding can support exports for any size of a company and across all sectors, from capital goods to services and intangibles such as intellectual property. Exporting for Growth – The Exporting for Growth programme, funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), will deliver support and grants to both first time exporters and those already exporting, across the Leeds City Region, Sheffield City Region, and Humber LEPs, to allow businesses to grow their success within international markets. Eligible firms can claim up to £3000 match-funding for international activity including flights and accommodation for trade missions.
