By Leeds City Region
This session is the first in a series of “Let’s talk… Doing business in Europe” events supported by Equifax and Squire Patton Boggs.
In this session, local experts will cover any employment and HR issues which you might need to think about as our relationship with the EU changes.
The EU is the UK’s largest trading partner. In 2017, this market accounted for 45 per cent of all UK exports.
However, the trading environment between the UK and EU is changing and it is important to be aware of how those changes may impact your business. Whether you already have an established customer base in Europe or you are looking for new customers, understanding the market requirements is a key part of doing business overseas.
We have therefore teamed up with business organizations from across the region to deliver a series of short breakfast events aimed at highlighting the key emerging business considerations when doing business in Europe.
The series of free events will provide practical and business-focused reflection on the questions you should be asking and the areas you should be reviewing, to ensure you continue to trade successfully with your EU based customers. Each session will focus on a particular aspect as follows, and can be booked here:
