However not everyone has enough time to be visiting their local gym or setting up a gym in their home, this means you should get more active throughout the day by simply taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Instead of driving or catching the bus to a place that is within a walking distance you should walk. Another way could be to increase your household chores because everyone loves a clean home.

It also helps fend off occupational health problems like repetitive strain injury. British researchers conducted research with 10 workers and 6 out of 10 said their time management skills, mental performance and ability to meet deadlines improved on days when they exercised. This means that exercising also helps in getting the best out of your working day too.

From today onwards if your typical day is your 9 to 5 job and relaxing at home. Think of the impact that is having on your health and well being. Like they say prevention is better than cure.
