At Home-Start Leeds we offer a unique service for families who are experiencing difficulties while bringing up young children. We know that being a parent isn’t always easy and that life can bring challenges that get in the way of enjoyable family time. To help parents give their children the best start, we harness the care, kindness and understanding of volunteers, people from all communities who are usually parents themselves. Our volunteers offer their time to support other parents as they increase their confidence and ability to cope and build better lives for their children and themselves. The Home-Start approach has a proven, lasting, positive impact on the development of children and the health and well-being of the family.
