J. Long and Sons (Haulage) Ltd is a true family business formed in the 1920’s by Joe Long, the grandfather of our present directors. The company remains family controlled and is now in its fourth generation. Our company aim is to provide a quality road haulage, storage and distribution service to all parts of the UK. The main depot and head office is based at an 8 acre site in Leeds, ideally situated within close proximity to the new A1-M1 link road, providing easy access to all major roadways, towns and ports. April 2000 saw the opening of an additional depot in Hull – operating through direct link to the Leeds depot with all drivers and vehicles fully integrated into the working practices of the company.
