Sheraz Malik, founder and director of the Yorkshire Enterprise Network, put forward the business perspective when the national BBC News broadcast their ‘Brexit Britain’ programme from Bradford on Monday 5th September.

The crew interviewed a cross section of local people and businesses about how they saw the future post-Brexit, including Bradford Brewery manager Alison Jackel, The Pavilion’s Zulfi Hussain and Dermot Bolton of Bradford Politics in the Pub as well at Council Leader Susan Hinchcliffe and Tory Leader Simon Cooke. Bradford was portrayed in a really positive light, with BBC reporter Jane Hill concluding: “The picture I am getting is that Bradford’s small businesses have a can-do attitude and just get on with it.”

And all this against a backdrop of City Park looking resplendent in the sunshine.

The BBC have provided us with clips of the interview, so watch the video below to see what Sheraz had to say.
