I really come to life with a camera in my hand – I think there’s something magical about capturing a moment in time forever, especially if that moment in time happens to be at a special occasion. Weddings are my favourite thing to photograph right now, particularly when people want something a little less traditional and for me to capture moments rather than poses. I tend to work with lots of colour and try to make things have that touch of magic. I started taking photos about 5 years ago when I got an old medium format yashica. This camera was all manual so it taught me about exposure, and film, along with developing and printing. It began that a few friends asked me to photograph their weddings and then things have just kind gone on from there.
