There’s now less than ten days to go before the Yorkshire Enterprise Network and Telegraph & Argus return to The Provident Stadium with another ‘Bradford Means Business’ networking event. Marc Green is set to speak on the rugby club’s growing relationship with businesses, however, this will be his third time involved in a YEN event, with the first being our last visit to The Provident Stadium in May 2014.

While the microphone was expertly handled by Bradford Bulls Chief Executive, Robbie Paul-Hunter, Marc Green’s presence was surely felt as he spoke with many of the evening’s attendees and posed for tons of #YENSelfies. The Bulls takeover was completed less than two months before the evening, but the positive vibes from Marc were evident, leaving many confident that the club would flourish under his ownership both on and off the pitch, even with the possibility of relegation from the Super League.

His second appearance was in front of an even larger audience when he spoke at the 2014 Bradford Business Conference, organised by YEN and the Telegraph & Argus. He was one of six speakers at an hour long panel sessions titled “Bradford: What Next?” which discussed the future and predicted growth of Bradford. He was joined by five other speakers; Nasser Malik (Chairman of Malik House Business Centres), Mike Cowlam (Interim Strategic Director of Bradford MDC), Robert Drummond (Head of Newspaper Sales at the Telegraph & Argus), Paul Mackie (Chairman of Rex Procter & Partners), Mark Robson (Regional Director of UK Trade and Investment), as they spoke at one of the most popular seminars of the day.

Finally we arrive at our next networking event on Thursday 14th May 2015. Almost one year after his first appearance at a YEN event, Marc Green will once again take centre stage to speak about the Bradford Bulls and business. As always, registration for the event is free and we encourage anyone interested in networking to attend this unique event.
